Odyssean Fiction?
Odyssean Fiction is a genre which involves a search, both through the mysteries of the mind and the mysteries of time and space (whether this be physical or virtual space, or both).
The name of this genre is penned after Homer's "The Odyssey", written in 800 B.C.E.
This new fictional genre was first coined by Green & Lloyd for their book - The Virtual Muser. The authors quickly discovered, while writing their book, that the existing genre labels were too limited in scope and as such would not reflect the ideas and motifs that were underlying the work.
